What are Learning Keys?
Our Leedon Learning Keys have been designed using objectives from the National Curriculum for Key Stages One and Two as well as our Learning Community 2 local agreement. They are a child-friendly way of demonstrating to the children what they will be learning about, giving them key facts that they will need to know, showing them images linked to the topic and also vocabulary that they will be using. It is also important that the children know why they are learning that topic and which doors this study will open. Additionally, the teachers use the Learning Keys to support their planning and to ensure continuity and progression across the year groups.
